People are quick to lick fingers soaked with oil, but when those fingers are soaked with blood, no one wants to come close.

This becomes clear when a rich man goes broke and struggles to survive the pressures of hard economic times. Those who benefited greatly from him when he was rich will be the same ones to gang up, mock him, and call him wicked, spreading gossip everywhere.

Because people only remember what is presently in their mouths and quickly forget the past.

Therefore, plan ahead for the rainy day, and always help the needy, so that God may compensate you in your own day of need.
